ROOM 2: THE SECRET REPORT

Your team enters an abandoned security office. A damaged computer suddenly turns on. One hidden report appears on the screen.

“Find the spelling mistakes. The incorrect letters reveal the secret code.”

Every spelling mistake contains ONE incorrect letter. Write ONLY the incorrect letters in order to discover the hidden word. Be careful. Some mistakes are difficult to identify.

Last Friday night, a group of university students entered an old theater during a violant storm. They wanted to investigate several strange noises that local people had reported during the previous month. Although many students looked nervous, the team leader insisted that continuing the investigation was important for their psychology project.

When the students arrived at the building, they immediately noticed that the main entrence door was slightly open. Inside, the theater looked abandoned and covered in dust. However, one student discovered fresh footprints near the stairs. Another student later found a flashlight hidden underneath a broken seat, which made everybody feel extremly uncomfortable.

A few minutes later, the group heard a terrifying scream coming from upstairs. Nobody wanted to continue searching the building, but the team leader convinced everybody to remain calm. While they were slowly walking through a narrow hallway, they discovered a room filled with old photographs, broken chairs, and strange mesages written across the walls.

Suddenly, the lights turned off and the room became completely silent. One student claimed she saw somebody moving behind a curtain, but almost nobody believed her at first. Moments later, the group heard slow footsteps coming closer through the darknes. Several students became so frigtened that they almost started running toward the exit.

Eventually, the students escaped from the theater and immediately contacted the police. Later that evening, investigators discovered that a homeless man had secretly been living inside the building for many monts. Although the experience had been deeply frightening, the investigation helped the students become more confident and much more aware of how fear can afect human behavior.
